41 printable tell-this-story picture prompts for impromptu speaking practice
With 7 activities that use images as starters
A while ago I put together and published a collection of 40 high-quality images to use in five impromptu speaking activities suitable for middle school and up. These range from simple pair-shared conversations to more challenging solo and group activities.
That initial printable file of picture prompts has been so very popular I decided to put together another of them.
These also come with activity suggestions, (seven), for solo, paired and group storytelling work. This time I’ve added two more printables: 15 story starters and 24 story additions. Both are used in several of the activities along with the images.

PS. As I said last week, and I’ll say next, if you have ideas for topics you’d like to see covered in this newsletter, or if you’d like to share an article on some aspect of public speaking, or a speech of your own, please get in touch. Either reply to this email or contact me through the form on my about me page on my website. I’d love to hear from you!
Oooh, fun prompt, thanks!
Good ideas! I can see how students could get right into the photos to imagine what's happening.
